Becoming a Solution Architect is a great career choice for those who want to work in the field of IT and software development.


The role of a Solution Architect is critical in any organization that wants to build and deliver complex technology solutions. I would like to share my experience and the insights on how I build a successful career as a solution Architect. I started my journey as a System Admin, managing on-premises data center to be more precise Vmware, Citrix, operating systems and networking. This helps me in gaining hands-on experience with different technologies and systems.


Here are some steps you can take to become a successful Solution Architect:


  • Gain technical expertise: To become a Solution Architect, you must have a deep understanding of various technologies and programming languages. You should have experience working with different platforms, operating systems, and cloud technologies. It's essential to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry.   • Obtain industry certifications: Industry certifications can help you gain recognition and credibility as a Solution Architect. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, and Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect can demonstrate your proficiency in cloud computing.


  • Gain practical experience: To build a robust cloud data center architecture, you must have practical experience designing and implementing different cloud-based solutions. You can gain experience by working on real-world projects, participating in hackathons, and building your own projects.
